In a major welcome news, the Govt. of India has decided to allow foreign nationals residing in India to be able to register on COWIN (the official app for COVID vaccine registration) and take COVID Vaccines like Indian nationals. This was announched by Health Minister, Mansukh Mandaviya today.
The move will surely give a sigh of relief to foreign nationals living in India who were having a difficult time having vaccine. It can also be convenient for people who are planning to travel to India for business or medical purposes. The govt. however, is yet to announce further details on what category of foreign nationals can avail the vaccines, or if it is available to all nationals with a valid visa.
